      The speckled perch have gone crazy this past week. Carl Keim of Bass Island Campground here at Wingate's caught 263 this past week alone on Jigs in deep water. He said it was the best fishin' he's ever had. Amos Frazier and Don Logsdon brought them in by the boatload, too.
