The 2007-2008 Region 1-A One Act Play Competition was completed on Friday, November 2, at South Georgia College in Douglas, Georgia. The cast of the play Funeral Tea was Danielle Collier, Megan Phillips, Kendra Pickren, Suzanne Reynolds and Tarah Sloan. The play's crew consisted of Brittany Grant and Tabitha Grant. The play is a humorous story about the ladies who are attending a tea to remember and honor their uncle's cremation. Surprisingly, they believe that they have accidentally made tea with his ashes, but later learn that they haven't. Megan Phillips and Tarah Sloan were both named to the region's All-Star Cast.
