As You See It For those who would like to know what the churches "are doing for Christmas"-- I would encourage you to attend one of your choice a little more often and perhaps you might just actually findout. There are too many "church hoppers" and "Christmas/ Easter Christians" in this world today. What we need are more "everyday" Christians. I miss Dr. Andrews being in Colquitt. She was one of the best doctors we have had in a long time. Our loss is someone else's gain! You should always try to put a smile on other peoples faces. I drove through Colquitt Saturday and the town square looked like it did long years ago. There were people everywhere. A good sight to see! I f you would like to know how to become an everyday Christian, I am sure you can go to any good, godly, Bible believing, Christ-centered church this Sunday and they will share with you how. To answer the initial question in last week's "as you see it" about what the churches are doing for Christmas. "For me and my church, we will be worshipping the Lord!" I love the new flags that are around Colquitt. They look a lot better than the old decorations. Thanks, Cory Thomas, and the City of Colquitt. Cotton Hall Christmas is well worth going to see. It will get you in the Christmas spirit. Let's all remember the reason for the season as we approach this holiday season. Spring Creek Park is beautiful at night. You should ride through there. |
