Ebony Dots & Dashes
I got up and went into the bathroom, got my bath and behold out of the spare bed room walks my son, Rudolph. He had got home around fiveor six o'clock, went to bed without disturbing me. I did not get too excited, but I was really glad to see him. I got ready to go to church, and he was supposed to get some rest. When I returned home, he had cooked dinner and was in the process of picking turnips for Monday's dinner. He is a good son, and I do love him dearly. I get a chance to be lazy when he is home. Tabernacle F.W.B. Church celebrated their pastor's anniversary last Sunday. From Sunday School to the dismission was awesome. My son Rudolph is a Georgia hog at heart. While I attended Church on Sunday, he went grocery shopping. He found some purple top turnips and bought two bundles. When I got home from church, he was busy cleaning the turnips for cooking. So on Monday I will take over and try to cook him a meal that will satisfy his longing. Ms. Crystal Fountain got married last Thursday to Mr. Alfred Leonard. We hope for them many years of happiness. Mrs. Dorothy Bullard is still in the hospital in Albany, and Mr. Felton Green is still in Dothan. Celebrating birthdays are Ms. Wendy Miller, December 15, and Mrs. Crearsie Hayes, December 18, who will be 87 years old. |
