Why are jailors allowed to drive county vehicles home? I have to drive my own vehicle to work, and they are no better than me!

The businesses thank the Colquitt/Miller Arts Council for bringing hundreds of visitors into our town to enjoy the Christmas shows.

In a county with so many dirt roads, it doesn't make good sense to pave the middle of one and leave dirt on each end does it Commissioner Phillips?

It costs taxpayers a lot for law officersto have to unlock cars and trucks., but it is a good service.

I heard the new jail kitchen is open and running. Maybe they can fixmeals for the hospital.

What happened to the plans to consolidate the cit y and county governments? We need to save taxes, and double services cost more than double.

I don't guess Georgia DUI laws are in effect in Miller County for everyone with all the drunks driving, every day and night.

The Christmas play draws some real nice people to Colquitt.

Why don't all the cases get reported that are caught by law enforcement officers?

No wonder we have so many repeat offenders at the county jail. I saw one of the inmates in line at a local convenience store deli recently. Not much of a punishment.

If a member of my family is injured because of the dilapidated building (old laundromat) on First St., I can assure you a lawsuit will be filed. The city has already been notified.

The county commissioners have control of approving the budgets for the county offices.The elected officials control how they spend their approved budgets.

The county needs to pave roads that will serve the most people, like the one going by the new school.

When are some of the old buildings going to be fixed up? Some of them are dangerous.

The jail inmates working around town and the county are one of the best things we have going.

Christ is really the reason we still celebrate this very special season.
