New book out on Colquitt

A brand new book is out that celebrates the many accomplishments that Colquitt and Miller County have achieved over the past 30 years. Colquitt & Miller County Benchmarks of Progress 1976-2006, funded by the Ruth T. Jinks Foundation and written by Karen S. Kimbrel, is now on sale at Market on the Square. A reception and celebration of the release of the book and the many organizations and individuals who have significantlycontributed to the present day community will be held after the holidays.

A book signing and afterhours shopping will be held December 11, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and many items in Market on the Square will be on sale.
