Queens for kids

Miss Mayhaw Queens

The Miss Colquitt queens and The National Mayhaw Festival queens will join together on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, for a "Queens for Kids" toy and canned food drive.

This group of young ladies is concerned about every child in Miller County and surrounding counties having a Merry Christmas.

All area queens (Forestry, MCHS Homecoming, SGA Homecoming, Campus Beauty, Relay for Life, Valentine, Sweet Potato, etc.) are invited to participate.

The queens also encourage the entire community to get involved and help ensure that every child is treated like "a queen" and given a royal Christmas.

Everyone is asked to bring an unwrapped toy and one canned food item to the Colquitt United Methodist Church between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on December 11. Let's show our support of this cause and these queens with a terrific turnout for "Queens for Kids."
