ERLENE HEARD

Mrs. Erlene Heard, 79, of Colquitt passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007, at her residence.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Rollin Rathel and Rev. Leon VanLandingham officiating. Interment followed at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Heard was born August 1, 1928, in Miller County. She was a homemaker and a member of Morningside Baptist Church in Bainbridge.

She is survived by her two daughters, Amy (James) Ard and Jan Heard, both of Colquitt; two brothers, Buren (Robin) Griffin of Colquitt and Joe (Jewel) Griffin of Washington; one sister, Dorothy McCauley of Fayetteville, NC; three grandchildren, Jamie (Jennifer) Ard of Bainbridge, April (Aaron) Louviere of Tallahassee, FL, and Emily Ard of Valdosta; two greatgrandchildren, Mason Ard and Madelyn Ard; one stepson, Raymond (Earnestine) Heard of Colquitt; one stepdaughter, Delores Cloud of Athens; primary caregiver, Pam Harvey; caregivers, Shirley Buckhalter, Dorothy Reames, Sara Connell and June Thorpe.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
