LOIS PEACE

Mrs. Lois Peace, age 95, of Colquitt died Sunday, November 25, 2007, at Palmyra Park Hospital in Albany.

Mrs. Peace was born July 29, 1912, in Mitchell County. She was a homemaker and a member of Milford Methodist Church. She was a Sunday School teacher at Milford Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star of Albany and an MYF leader.

A celebration of life for her was held Tuesday, November 27, at 3:00 p.m. at Milford Methodist Church with the Rev. Beverly Mc- Fadden and the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Peace Joiner, Colquitt, Janis P. (Bruce) Ward, Arlington; one son, Steve Peace, Blakely; grandchildren, Sabrina Ward (Mike) Brown, Albany, Evan (Toni) Ward, Macon, Joy Ward (Chip) Bowles, Albany, Day Joiner (Britt) Henderson, Tallahassee, FL, Christy Joiner, Colquitt, Chris (Michelle) Peace, Blakely, Jason and Cammie Peace, Newnan; great-grandchildren, Dylan Ward, Alex Ward, Roswell, Ivy Ward, Will Ward, Macon, Macy Martin, Molly Martin, Brandon Bowles, Sydney Bowles, Albany, Hollan Henderson, Tallahassee, FL, Hannah and Ava Peace, Newnan; and several nieces and special people also survive.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
