New Decorations Adorn the City
by Cory Thomas, City Manager

City workers and trustees adorn the streets of Colquitt with new decorations.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Colquitt!

The town is looking extremely festive with the addition of new downtown Christmas decorations.

Thanks to the City of Colquitt, Miller County Board of Commissioners, and the Ruth T. Jinks Foundation, the City has been decorated with new holiday banners on the lamp posts and new wreath decorations surrounding the Courthouse.

In addition, the decorations on the poles leading to the entrances of the Courthouse were graciously donated by local citizens.

These new decorations and banners will be greatly received by all of the locals as well as the many visitors that come to Colquitt during the Christmas season. The banners will be able to be replaced with custom banners that can be interchanged all during the year to greet the many tourists that stop in Colquitt.
