Two candidates to interview for BC position Dr. Jeff Gibbs of Abraham Baldwin College (ABAC) in Tifton will interview Nov. 15. Dr. Miriam Dittman of Georgia Perimeter College/Clarkston will interview Nov. 16. During their visits each candidate will make a presentation in response to the question, "What would you bring to this position?" The community is invited to - and the college encourages participation in - these important sessions in the main campus college library. They will be 9:30 a.m.- 10:25 a.m. both days. Forms will be provided for written feedback. Dr. Gibbs holds a doctorate in business education from the University of Georgia where he earned bachelor's and master's degrees in economics. A professor of economics and chair of the Division of Business Administration at ABAC, Dr. Gibbs has held various teaching and administrative positions in higher education since 1976. Dr. Dittman holds three degrees in physics. She earned a bachelor's from Furman University and a master's and a doctorate from the University of Georgia. Since 1991 she has served in a variety of leadership positions at Georgia Perimeter College and is currently the interim dean of academic services for the Clarkston campus in addition to being the college-wide dean of sciences. | |||||
