BOBBY E. ADDISON

Mr. Bobby E. Addison, 67, of Albany died Monday, October 22, 2007, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Pittman officiating. Interment followed at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Miller County, Mr. Addison had resided in Albany since 1966. He was the former owner of Addison Enterprises and was currently employed with Gwines Farm's Inc. and was a member of New Generation Church. Mr. Addison was affectionately known as "Big Bob" by his granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his father, Estul Addison.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Emily Addison of Albany; two sons, Billy (Loy) Addison of Albany and Bobby E. (Rachel) Addison of Nashville, TN; his mother, Lois Strickland of Albany; his brother, Sterling Addison of Albany and two granddaughters, Harper Kathryn Addison and Baylee Marie Addison.

Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
