JOHN THOMAS CLENNEY Mr. John Thomas Clenney, 93, of Colquitt passed away October 12, 2007, at Early Memorial Nursing Home in Blakely. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, at Bellview Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Merritt, Rev. Bobby Dunn and Rev. Mike Mounts officiating. Interment followed at Bellview Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Clenney was born March 26, 1914, in Salem, FL. He was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Bellview Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Emma Lou Clenney of Colquitt; one son, Phillip L. (Joy) Clenney of Blakely; four daughters: Shelby (Tom) Burns of Blakely, Delores (Carl) Quebedeaux of Dothan, AL, Rose (Kenneth) Pope of Blakely, and Rita (Ted) Warren of Blakely; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Robbie Justice,AQuebedeaux,Tommy Barnes, Jim Warren, Scott Warren, Ryan Warren, Brad Clenney and Beau Clenney served as pallbearers. Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. |
