MCAE Achievement Recognized

Students at Miller County Adult Education were recognized for their achievement during the first quarter of 2007- 2008. Lorenzo Baker, Kenny Brown, Carlos Felix, Clinton Grant, Nicholas Rainey, and Quentin Williams completed levels. A certificate, a dictionary and a coupon from Hardee's were presented to each student as awards for their success. Level completions are goals students must achieve as they prepare for the GED test and their ultimate goal of receiving a GED diploma.

In addition to successfully completing levels, students must also meet attendance requirements. Carlos Felix, Clinton Grant, Debra Jimenz, Adrian Mason, Amanda Padilla, Nicholas Rainey, Colby Smith, and Quentin Williams were each presented a certificate and a Subway coupon for meeting attendance goals.

The Miller County Adult Learning Center is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings from 8:00-12:00 and is located downstairs in the Miller County Arts Council Building. For further information, please call 758-4157.
