JOHNNY S. DARDEN, JR.

Johnny Sylvester Darden Jr., 26, of Colquitt passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 22, at 1:00 p.m. at Spirit Filled International Temple with Pastor James Wooten officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery.

Johnny was born February 2, 1981, to Yvonne Blake and the late Johnny Darden Sr. He was a member of Spirit Filled International Temple and was a 1999 graduate of Miller County High School.

Survivors include his mother, Yvonne Blake of Colquitt; stepfather, Ralston Blake Sr. of Colquitt; his fiance, Samantha Gabriel and her four children; one sister, Latrice (Lee) Rivers of Atlanta; six brothers, Isaac (Katrina) Powell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Antoine (Cindy) Powell, St. Petersburg, FL, Roderick (Latisha) Powell of Blakely, Wilbur (Cathy) Thomas, Ralston Blake Jr., and David (Dominique) Blake, all of Colquitt; and a host of family members.

Williams' Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
