CAROLYN THOMPSON RODRIGUEZ

Mrs. Carolyn Thompson Rodriguez, 73, of Colquitt, passed away September 20, 2007, at Miller County Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, at Thompson Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Daniels and Rev. Bobby Whitaker officiating. Interment followed at Thompson Cemetery.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born October 2, 1933, in Miller County. She was retired from Birdsong Peanut Company and was a member of Thompson Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her one son, David Rodriguez of Colquitt,; three brothers, E. C. (Opal) Thompson of Dothan, AL, Gerald Thompson and Devaughn Thompson both of Colquitt; one sister, Barbara (Stewart) Short of Shellman; two grandsons, J. D. Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, TX, and Josh Rodriguez of Colquitt; two aunts; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Devaughn Thompson Jr., W. C. Calhoun, Zack Calhoun, Kenny Gallups, Bryant Cullpepper, Matt Thompson, and Louie Grimes served as pallbearers.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
