BERNICE OWENS DURHAM

Mrs. Bernice Owens Durham, 69, of Brinson passed away Thursday, September 6, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment followed at Lane Cemetery in Colquitt.

Mrs. Durham was born April 18, 1938, in Decatur County, to the late Brewster Benjamin Johnson and Niza Middleton Johnson. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Randy Durham of Brinson; two sons, R.B. (Tina) Owens of Donalsonville and Darrell Owens of St. Petersburg, FL; two sisters, Helen Palmetto of Donalsonville and Teri Hornsby of Iron City; and a granddaughter, Paige Owens of Augusta.

Ed Smith, Donnie Ray Miller, Gary Nichols, Steve Griffin, George Odom and H.L. Griner served as active pallbearers.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
