Ebony Dots & Dashes

Last Sunday was a good day for this old soul. Even though I was unable to go to church, the church came to me. The pastor of Bethel M.B. Church and his wife came and spent time with me. They also visited with Mrs. Annie P. Johnson.
The Rev. and Mrs. Willie Boatman and two of their deacons came by and had prayer with me. I can say that the Lord is good to this soul. I went back to the doctor last Friday and had a good report.
I just want to say thanks to the people of Miller County for the way you have cared for me. You don't know who your friends are until you are flaton your back. Thank you so much.
I had a call from a cousin Sunday. She is unable to walk and has to have oxygen but was concerned about me.
My son, Rudolph, has made the trip from Philadelphia twice since I've been sick. He left last Saturday morning going home. He called before day Sunday to let us know he made it safely. Thank God for safe travels.
Thanks to my daughter, Gwen. I am not suffering for food. She sees to it that I am well fed.
My granddaughter, Georgia Burr, came to see me last Sunday. She lives in DeFuniak Springs, FL.
I am feeling pretty good, hoping to make a full recovery. I hope that he Lord has some more work for me to do. If so, I'll gladly do it. Continue to keep me in your prayers. I will be forever grateful.
