As You See It

Thanks to one commissioner who stands up against the other four who are spending our taxes illegally. The public does need to know, and we will remember you.

I wish I had gone to the college that our BOE chairman, Leroy, went to receive his degree in knowledge of knowing who is qualified for leadership.

Our Governor recognized one of the best principals in the state but our BOE Chairman, Leroy Bush, said he wasn't qualified. Where did you learn so much?

It is ridiculous for the kids to have to wade through grass at school. BOE members, do the job or get off the pot.

Justice should be done in Miller County. If it's not done now, no telling what business or person/ persons could be hurt seriously or killed.

Teachers should keep children in the room out of this heat wave. If children have to go out, teachers need to go out too, not just para pros.

I think the person that wants a man to run for Clerk ought to run himself. Oops I mean herself.

Wonder why a certain secretary has been calling some of the jury commissioners. I guess her aunt's hugging and stopping grand jury members at the courthouse didn't work.

How in the world would someone know how much an elected officialcan draw in retirement? Maybe they have access to the records.

One of our commissioners is taking "going green" to the max. She's "green with envy" of people that continue to be elected countywide. Something she couldn't do.

I was a sucker. I voted for Barbie and Vicki. Won't happen again.

Looks like the commissioners need to firethe county attorney since they don't take his advice, although they should.

The Tarrer Inn is doing better than EVER!!!

Judge Joe Bishop and Clerk "Judge" Annie L. Middleton need an investigation on why citizens were refused the right to attend opening of grand jury performance at Miller County Courthouse.

Why was a black man told by a baliff he could not sit in the lobby of courthouse the day of court. Is the courthouse a public building? Is this discrimination or not?

Beware to those out there who are back stabbing and down grading their bosses. After all, they gave you a job.

If I had to have a case heard in Miller County, I would question the ethics of the clerk of court. This officeneeds to be investigated.

The taxpayers of Miller County have a legal right to know how the jury is chosen! The Clerk of Court does not own the taxpayers. They pay her!

What is a jury commissioner? Who is on the jury commission? Why is this a secret? Who pays these people?

Stop mitching and boning about the County, City, & BOE officials you elected -- In a democracy, the people get the government they deserve ... and they deserve the government they get!

Any institution is only as good as the people who work there. When Department managers feel mistrusted and are never asked for input and their suggestions are not appreciated, trouble and suffering is right around the corner.

Our best people are leaving the hospital. Our pharmacist is leaving this week. The books might balance, but the doors will be closed!

Everyone needs a night job if they want to go to the county commission meetings in the morning, if they know about them.

We heard that someone is in real trouble who gave out public records of how the county commission is spending our tax monies.

When an elected officialgains financial assets from a decision they make for the officethey serve- It is considered legally "Conflictof Interest" not to mention a felony.

County Commissioners received legal advice that they should not pay legal fees for Phillips- Why? Because what Phillips did was for personal gain!

Question to Lawyer Bowles regarding letter to Commissioners- Why does he feel it unfortunate for Phillips to pay own legal fees?

The Pledge of Allegiance says "justice for all." Our state judicial system made a mockery of this pledge when the Grand Jury met last week about the shooting case. It's who you are or who you know, and "How well you know them!!!"

The stuff in the city pond that feeds Spring Creek smell like what it is. The highest garbage collection city in Georgia or the nation are out of trash cans, but they still charge.

Wonder if the county commission might hire the hospital CEO and close them down! That would give taxpayers relief.
