Smith, Coggins to wed

Laura Smith and Jason Coggins
The families of Laura Elizabeth Smith and Jason Robert Coggins proudly announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Linda K. Smith and the late David W. Smith of Blakely. Miss Smith is the granddaughter of the late Woodie and Christine King of Donalsonville and the late Ernest and Melva Smith of Cordele.

After graduating from Early County High School, the bride-elect attended Young Harris College and Troy State University in Troy, Alabama, where she received a degree in psychology and criminal justice. She is presently employed by Coffee County DHR in Enterprise, Alabama.

The future bridegroom is the son of Brenda B. Johnson of Goshen, Alabama, and Ronald W. Coggins of Luverne, Alabama. Mr. Coggins is the grandson of Ruby Bush and the late Marvin Bush and Percy and Christine Coggins, all of Luverne, Alabama.

Mr. Coggins graduated from Luverne High School in Luverne, Alabama, and will graduate in the spring from Troy State University with a degree in information systems. The bridegroom is currently employed as a programs' supervisor at Sikorsky in Troy, Alabama.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, December 15, 2007, at 5:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Blakely with the reception immediately following at the Town and Country Club.
