Nursing Home News

Saturday the residents enjoyed spending time with their families for Family Day. Also on Saturday the Spirit Filled Temple came to share with them. Sunday, Sunday School was provided by the First Baptist Church and Macedonia came to share in the afternoon. Monday we had a Bible study in the morning and watched "Gilligan's Island" that afternoon. Monday evening Mt. Zion Fellowship came to share in song with each of the residents. Tuesday morning we had our regular bingo games and coke floats in the afternoon. Wednesday morning, First Baptist came to have church service, and Jane Wiggins came to share a book for our afternoon activity. Thursday morning round two of bingo began. In the afternoon we got our blood pumping with group exercise. Thursday evening David Bracewell and his band came to do a little picking and singing. Gayle Grimsley blessed our hearts with song on Friday morning, Vic and Jackie Fleet boiled peanuts for the residents, and boy, how they enjoyed them! A special thanks to everyone who takes part in our activities for the residents.
