How did you spend your Sunday evening?
Many members of the Colquitt/Miller County Volunteer Fire Department were out on the highways in 95º plus temperatures "volunteering their time to help collect over $3200.00 to "Fill The Boot" for Jerry's Kids with Muscular Dystrophy.
Our firemen don't mind giving up their time to help with a good cause or to help put out a fireor remove victims from a wreck.
If you by some miracle missed dropping your gift in the
Boot to help Muscular Dystrophy, you
can always drop a check in the mail to the Colquitt/Miller County Volunteer Fire Department, 165 Main Street, Colquitt, GA 39837. They will be more than happy to get it to those who want to finda cure for this dreaded disease.
Our firemen and fireladies have been working hard since
early June in Colquitt to "Fill The Boot" for Jerry's Kids with Muscular
Dystrophy. Help them help others. They will be manning the phones Mon. Sept. 3,
at WCTV and presenting a check.
