As You See It

New school year...Guess I can stop looking for last year's graduation Thank You cards. Every year we receive numerous graduation invitations but never a simple thank you card. Who's fault is that, student or parent?

Last year graduation invi tat ions : MCHS seniors - 7...SGA seniors - 5. Thanks you cards: MCHS seniors - 0; SGA seniors-3.

People blame the CEO of the hospital for the Rehab Dept. falling apart. He did not force the therapist to leave, that was THEIR decision, not his. May not like new director but then life's not always fair, is it?

The CEO of our hospital is doing a wonderful job cleaning up after former CEO. I f employees refuse to finally get off their behinds and work, then they are doing the correct thing by leaving.

Great bunch of folks that work at Colquitt Funeral Home. Thanks Danny and staff for your compassion and hard work. You make one of life's toughest experiences as pleasurable as possible. Thank again!

In response to the Albany Herald front page article -- correct me if i'm wrong, didn't Leroy lie under oath? I've informed the writer to get all the facts.

Has Leroy ever told the truth? That goes for other board of ed members and the leader.

When a citizen has a party which requires extra patrol by law enforcement, is that citizen required to pay the extra salary costs, or is the burden placed on ALL the taxpayers?

New law for Mil ler County- It's against the law to disagree, but not to shoot at folks.

It's a sad day when a business gets shot up and the law enforcement upholds who did it!

The new apartments on Perry Drive look great -- give them six months and see what they look like!

The people in Miller County are saddened by the fact that the MC Hospital Board did not step up to the plate before they lost an entire department.

Some male who is head of their household really needs to run for public office.The Clerk of Court can retire and draw her social security and her clerks retirement which would be around $3000.00 per month.

We need a lawyer for probate and magistrate court since the law has changed so much. Think about it men!

Thank God for the rain we have gotten lately!

There are lots more good people in this place than sorry ones. We just know about the sorry ones.

Who was that hugging all the Grand Jurors Monday? Don't guess they have anything to be afraid of. Who's going to stop them.
