Sherry Calhoun of Colquitt is the media specialist.
She graduated from Valdosta State University with a master's in education -IT.
She previously worked as the media specialist at Calhoun County Elementary. She also was a past Miller County Elementary School teacher.
She is married to Kevin Calhoun, and they have two children, Kayla and Colt.
Temika Brown of Colquitt is teaching first grade at MCES.
Shegraduated from Thomas University with a degree in early childhood education.
She is married to Steve Brown, and they have one daughter, Faith.
Dick Griffin of Americus is teaching grades 9-12 social studies.
He graduated from Georgia Southwestern College with a bachelor of science degree and a master's of education degree from Troy State University and Valdosta State University.
He has worked in Dooly, Early, Decatur, Turner, Randolph, Dougherty counties, and also Riverview Academy.
He is married to Mary S. Griffin, and they have a daughter, Judy Griffin of Valdosta.

Jennifer Jarvis of Donalsonville is teaching 9-12 grade U.S. history and sociology.
She graduated from Troy State University of Dothan with a bachelor of science in secondary education history.
She taught at SGA for the past two years.
She is married to Jody Jarvis, and they have two children, Jacob and Jona-
Terri Johnson of Colquitt is teaching fifth grade at MCES.
She graduated from Troy State University with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education.
She taught one year at SGA in Damascus.
She is married to Doug Johnson and has three children, Jessica, Taylor and Preston
Beth Mithen of Bainbridge is the new principal at MCES.
She graduated with an MS in administration from Albany State.
She has 25 years' experience as a classroom teacher and four years as a district administrator.
She is married to Scott Mithen, and they have two children, Tommy and Ginny, and one grandson, Elliott.
Linda O'Brien of Bainbridge is teaching Spanish I and II.

She has two sons, Ken and Kevin.
Gayle Ray of Blakely, formerly of Eatonton, is teaching 9-12 Special Ed/ English. She is certified in both learning disabilities and English.
She previously taught three years at Griffin High School in Griffin, three years at Pike County High School in Zebulon and one year at Early County High School in Blakely.
She has a two-year-old daughter, Taylor Grace.
Mandy Roland of Colquitt is teaching second grade at MCES.
She graduated from Thomas University with a BS in early childhood education.
She worked as a paraprofessional at MCES.
She is married to Cleve Roland, and they have two sons, Isaiah and Ben.
Joe Sheffield of Cairo is teaching high school science.
He graduated from Florida International University with a master's of science degree.
He previously taught at Dougherty Comprehensive High School.

She previously worked as an accountant and a paraprofessional for the Miller County School System.
She is married to Jeffery K. Smith, and they have three children Jessica, Shelby, and Colby.
Scott Warren of Blakely is teaching special education inclusion.
He graduated from Troy State University at Dothan with a degree in history.
He is married to Linda Warren and has two children, Alex and Marci.
