McBroom, Pickle to marry

Tracy Pickle and Michelle McBroom

Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Mc- Broom and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chapman of Blakely announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Michelle, to Tracy Dwain Pickle of Colquitt.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. "Bud" McBroom and the late Myrna McBroom of Defuniak Springs, FL, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Goocher of Blakely.

A 2004 graduate of Early County High School, Miss McBroom attends Georgia Southwestern State University and is employed with State Farm Insurance.

The future bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Pickle of Colquitt and the late Mrs. Virginia Driggers. He is the grandson of Mrs. Julia Pickle and the late Willie Vaughn Pickle of Colquitt and the late Rev. and Mrs. W.S. Driggers of Bainbridge.

Mr. Pickle is a 1996 graduate of Miller County High School and a 2001 graduate of Troy State University in Dothan. He is currently employed as a commercial lender with Ameris Bank.

The wedding is planned for November 10, 2007, at 5:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Blakely. The reception will follow immediately after at the Blakely Town and Country Club.

No local invitations will be sent, but all family and friends are invited to attend.
