EMMA CAROLYN SMITH TULLY

Mrs. Emma Carolyn Smith Tully, 75, went to be with her Savior on Friday, August 3, 2007, at the home where she had lived for 58 years.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 5, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Barwick and Rev. Talmadge Worsley officiating. Interment followed in Colquitt City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Adrian Rice, Blake Corley, Seth Corley, Jack Smith Jr., Lee Criswell and Dale Hamlin. Honorary pallbearers were the Women's Auxiliary of Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Tully was born in Henry County, Alabama, to the late John Wilburn and Nora Lee Blakenship Smith. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Smith and Franklin D. Smith; three halfbrothers, Welton Smith, Bill Smith, and James Smith; and one half-sister, Rose Smith Skipper.

Mrs. Tully spent many years as a homemaker, wife, and mother. She also worked in various businesses. She was a faithful member of Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church for 49 years.

Survivors include her husband, Glen Tully of Colquitt; four daughters, Glenda Repasz of Forsyth, Ann (Hayes) Everett of Lynn Haven, FL, Patti Corley of Panama City Beach, FL, and Tammy Tully of Bainbridge; one brother, Jack Smith of Tallahassee, FL; 10 grandchildren, Ellen Criswell, Carolyn Hamlin, Adrian Rice, John Rice, Leigh Ann Everett, Rebecca Corley, Blake Corley, Seth Corley, Shelley Spooner and Austin Spooner; five great-grandchildren, Alayna Criswell, Emilee Criswell, Alyssa Houston, Kendall Rice and Raegan Hamlin.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
