Although Southwind Ford has been in business for almost a year, the Grand Opening and official ribbon cutting was held Saturday, August 4, 2007, to celebrate with a host of loyal family, friends and customers. Everyone enjoyed lunch, fellowship and door prizes including a half-day quail hunt, lady's massage, gas grill and dinners for two from the Power Line Restaurant.
All came to admire the newly renovated facility that has become a full-service dealership and quick lube. Sterling Stinson, long time service manager, will continue to give customers the personal service that they have been accustomed to for the past 25 years. He has added James West and his 30 years' experience along with Buddy Faircloth, the parts manager with 25 y ears experience, to form a great team to service all automotive needs. Sterling will handle the automotive repair and service needs on-sight at Southwind Ford.
"As you can see, we have a total of 75 years experience to help you keep your car or truck rolling!" said the owner."When you combine our newly renovated facility, our service and parts department, along with our dynamic sales staff consisting of Carlton Chambers, general manager with 20 years' experience; Larry Smith, sales manager, 33 years experience; Jody Jarvis, F&I manager, 11 years' experience; David Gibbs, CFO, 20 years' experience; Kellie Chappell, office manager, 16 years' experience; Trina Medina, Title Clerk; and O.D.
