Seminole Ramlins
by Jack Wingate
Talk about a fish being out of his water, just below Jim Woodruff Dam while fishen for Catfish with worms, a man caught an eight pound Sheephead, moved downstream a bit and took another 5 pound Sheephead, 98 miles from saltwater.
Next March 1, there will be a Tim Tucker Memorial Bass Tournament out of Wingate's Lodge. All the profits will go to his two kids, Rachel and Kyle.
Some very large bass taken on plastic and a few on Top Water. Some small bass taken up the Chattahoochee on worms. They were just dinks.
Someone has seen hundreds of big Talapia fish here in Seminole & wonder how to catch them. Someone suggested that we use small grapes. Nets would do better if we could figure out jist where and when.
I guess when a gator strikes at the prop of a boat putting on a launching ramp & hits the stern of another boat taken out, that's time to call the nuisance Gator Man. So that's just what we did!
Dog Days began this past Saterday, and it would be a good idea to watch for mad animals in your yards and watch for sore eyes and groud itch too. They all come alive in the days of the Dog Star.

Bream have been steady all week long on crickets and wigglers, so has catfish. Some very fine catfish came in on wigglers late in the week. By the looks of things there must be tons of catfish in the Lake. No shortage so far as I see.
