Spooner, Holt to wed

Cameron Holt and Brooklyn Spooner

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Heard Jr. of Baker County and Mr. and Mrs. Andy Spooner of Colquitt would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooklyn Reese Spooner, to Jon Cameron Holt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Holt of Colquitt.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray of Colquitt, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Heard Sr. of Newton, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Spooner of Colquitt, and Mrs. Mary Daniels of Donalsonville.

Brooklyn is a 2004 graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy and a recent graduate of the Core Institute of Tallahassee. She is currently enrolled as a student at North Florida Cosmetology in Tallahassee, Florida.

The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Holt and the late Mr. John H. Smith and Mrs. Audrey Smith of Donalsonville.

Cameron is a 1999 graduate of Miller County High School. Currently, he is a graduate of Tallahassee Community College and employed with Ardaman and Associates pursuing an engineering degree from Florida State University of Tallahassee, Florida.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Colquitt at 7:00 p.m. The reception will immediately follow at the Tarrer Inn of Colquitt.

All friends and relatives of the couple are cordially invited to the wedding and the reception.
