JAMES ROLAND LOWERY

Mr. James Roland Lowery, age 77, of Edison died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Lowery was born October 16, 1929, in Crisp County. He was a maintenance technician and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Schley County. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict.

Graveside services were held Monday, July 30, at 10:00 a.m. at Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Buren Womble officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Spence Lowery, Arlington; two stepdaughters, Phyllis Brownell, Arlington, and Janie Burke, Dublin; seven grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; and five greatgreat grandchildren.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
