On July 24, 2007, the Rehab Department at Miller County Hospital had to say good-bye to two of the best therapists that Colquitt had. These two Philippine therapists came to Colquitt to face negative reactions from us Southerners, but you couldn't ask for two more polite, hard-working gentlemen anywhere else in the world.
Nikki Villona, physical therapist, came to Colquitt from Cebu City in June of 2005. Nikki was not only a great therapist, he was a great person. He had a good personality and wits that some people didn't quite understand. You can believe there was never a dull moment in the Rehab Department. We had patients to tell us that when they were feeling down and out they were going to call Nikki to come by or they would just come by and see us. Nikki will be greatly missed, but everyone wishes him the best at his new home in Chicago, Illinois.
Winright Tan, occupational therapist also from Cebu City, joined the hospital in January of 2006. Win, as he was called, was not as vocal as Nikki, he was quieter, but those are the ones you better watch (ha ha). He took up a lot of time with his patients, and they appreciated him for that. Win will also be greatly missed, and everyone wishes him the best as he makes his new home in Los Angeles, California.
The Rehab Department would like to thank both Nikki and Win for coming into our lives and making a difference. We will never forget you.
