JOAN WIDNER

Mrs. Joan Widner, age 74, of Donalsonville died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Widner was born November 4, 1932, in Early County to the late Cordy Timothy and Ruby Clyde Houston Williams. She was a certified medical records technician and worked for many years in this capacity at Seminole Memorial Hospital and at the State Hospital in Bainbridge. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville.

Funeral services for Mrs. Widner were held on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at the chapel of Evans- Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Luther Hastey and Rev. Morgan Whitfield officiating. Interment followed in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville.

Survivors include a son, Terry Widner and wife, Michele, Tallahassee, FL; daughter, Sharon Hodges and husband, Benny, Donalsonville; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
