Pilgrims Rest Church celebrates homecoming

Pilgrims Rest Church had its first homecoming in many years on June 9th and 10th.

A small crowd gathered in fellowship and love. Several visiting Elders were in attendance including Elder Donald E. Martin Sr. and Elder Michael McEnnis from Florida. They both did a wonderful job!

On Sunday, the pastor, Elder Roy E. Harrison preached, another good sermon! It was truly two wonderful days of spiritual growth and love.

Those attending were: Merle Tabb Merritt, Elder Roy and Sister Thelma H. Harrison, Sister Zelda Heirs, Norma Hornsby and two grandsons, Esther Cleveland, Gary, Nina and Steven Richardson, Sister Essie W. Shepard, Sister Josephine W. Allen, Elder Mike McEnnis, Elder Don Martin, Felix, Iva, and Ivanna Tabb, Lucy Hornsby, David Powell, Maggie Powell, Marsha Mock, Billy Kimbrel, Wadene Calhoun, Vertie Weaver, Sherry Chambers, and Dr. Robert Lane.

Pilgrims Rest service meets every second Sunday of the month. Plans are to have another homecoming this time next year.
