MARVIN EUGENE "GENE" INGRAM

Mr. MarvinEugene "Gene" Ingram, age 85, of Donalsonville, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 22, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Evans- Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Donna Bevels officiating. Interment followed in the Friendship Cemetery.

Mr. Ingram was born in Seminole County on June 20, 1922, to the late Marvin and Pearl Strickland Ingram. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of First Church of God in Bainbridge. He was a farmer and a livestock hauler.

Mr. Ingram leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years, Bertha Morris Ingram of Donalsonville; three daughters, Jerome I. Allen of Bainbridge, Nancy Ingram of Donalsonville, and Lily I. (Dennis) Weaver of Bainbridge; one sister, Evelyn I. (Buck) Jones of Jakin; a grandson, Brandon (Mandy) Weaver of Bainbridge.

Pallbearers were Lewis Carter, Jr., Neal Spooner, Ed Barber, Brad Clarke, Loren Shattles, and Howard Drury.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
