Roberts, Wells to wed

Nick Wells and Whitney Roberts

Mr. and Mrs. Ken Roberts of Colquitt announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Danielle, to Nicholas Jacob Wells of Albany, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wells of Putney.

Whitney graduated from Miller County High School as the valedictorian of the class of 2003. She is presently attending Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, where she will complete her requirements for a bachelor of science in human resource management this July.

Whitney is currently employed by Citizen's Bank of Americus.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Darley and Mrs. Anne Roberts, all of Colquitt. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Bronnie Roberts of Blakely. Whitney has one sister Kendall R. Donley of Lee County.

Mr. Wells is a 1999 graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School in Camilla. The groom-elect will continue his education at Darton College this fall where he is majoring in business. Nick is currently the manager of Mattress Outlet in Americus.

Mr. Wells is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Brorsen of Putney and Mrs. Annie Laura Wells of Baconton. He has a daughter, Alexis Wells, of Albany.

A private family ceremony and seated luncheon will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007, at the Tarrer Inn in Colquitt.
