DALTON GUNNER MOORE

Gunner Moore, 12, of Colquitt died Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

Gunner was born December 28, 1994, in Bainbridge. He just completed the sixth grade at Miller County Middle School, where he played the drums in the band. He attended Mother's Home Free Will Baptist Church, was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and the Shane Lusk Motocross School. Gunner's passion was racing dirt bikes.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, at Mother's Home Freewill Baptist Church in Colquitt with Rev. Miles Schultz officiating. Interment followed at Mother's Home Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Colquitt with Ronnie Lusk, Shane Lusk, Rick Landin, Joey Cobb, Eric Cofty, and Daryl Miller serving as active pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers were Cain Givens, Justin Sheridan, Tommy Winn, Todd Kuntz, Bruce McMillan, Alec Cobb and Jacob Givens.

Survivors include his parents, Richard Wayne Moore and Kim Bryan Moore of Colquitt; his brother, Isrel Peek and wife Taya of Woodstock; sister, Hannah Peek of Valdosta; paternal grandparents, David and Leola Moore of Whigham; paternal grandmother, Barbara Boshell of Colquitt; and his maternal grandfather, Ned Bryan of Bainbridge.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathy Bryan.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
