If you need something good to eat early or late, the newly renovated
Hog Heaven Store and Diner is the place to go.
The site of the new business is not new to those who live in the east part of Miller County. This has been the site of a country store for longer than many of us can remember. The new store and diner location is at the corner of SR 91 north of Colquitt and Kimbrel Road, and it will have more of everything than ever before, according to the owner, Margaret Williams.
The newly opened business starts serving breakfast at 5:30 A.M. and then lunch Monday - Saturday. The store and diner will offer delicious homecooked meals, hamburgers, hotdogs, BBQ and the best brunswick stew in three counties. The new kitchen will serve you in the diner, or you can get take-outs.
The Williams' family stated that there will be no need to travel all the way into town for those needed grocery items.
Ms. Williams said that they are already serving some of the best breakfasts and lunches from 5:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. She stated that they are having a fish fry each Saturday from 5-8 p.m. "Call us for your order to be ready at 758-9935," she advised.
