Coach Renza Israel and Coach Marianne Melton took the fourth grade physical education students on a field trip to Crooked Oak Golf Course. Mr. Winston Trively, Crooked Oak golf pro, gave the students a nice lesson on how to play golf and allowed the students to actually hit some practice balls on the facing. They were able to see the clubhouse and get a better understanding of golf as a lifetime sport.
Coach Israel and Coach Melton chose only the fourth grade students because of their good behavior they have exhibited all year long. The students all enjoyed the trip to the golf course, and they appreciated Mr. Trively taking the time out of his busy schedule to explain the game of golf. The fourth grade said they all want to come back soon.
Thanks, Crooked Oak and Mr. Trively!
