WILLIAM LAMAR SCARBOROUGH

William Lamar Scarborough, 58, of Donalsonville, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 10, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Evans- Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Barnes and Rev. Robert Johns officiating. Internment followed in Pineview Baptist Church Cemetery in Blakely.

Pallbearers were Sheldon Bruner, Mike Casey, Mike Spooner, Jack Newberry, Mike Miller and Don Lane.

Mr. Scarborough was born in Early County on February 16, 1949, to the late E.C. and Louise Hay Scarborough. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and worked in the agricultural industry.

Survivors include two sons, Tracy Scarborough and wife Andrea of Iron City and Jason Scarborough and wife Tami of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Ed Scarborough and wife Marijjane of Iron City and Milliard Scarborough and wife Wanda of Blakely; two sisters, Carol Barnes and husband Ernest of Columbia and Sara McClain and husband Billy of Tifton; and five grandchildren.

Evan-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
