COLLIE MAE NIX

Collie Mae Nix, 89, of Colquitt, died Friday, May 11, 2007, at Miller County Hospital.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 13, at 3:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Talmadge Worsley officiating. Interment followed in New Salem Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Nix was born February 15, 1918, in Miller County. She was a member of New Salem Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter Sue (Don) Mock of Colquitt; one brother Joe Tom (Laverne) McLendon of Colquitt; two grandchildren, Lori Jarvis of Colquitt and Lynn Summer of Dawson; three great-grandchildren, Megan Jarvis, Mallory Jarvis and Baylee Summer.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
