Three graduate from Thomas University

The graduation ceremony for Thomas University was held Saturday, May 5, at the Thomasville Municipal Auditorium in Thomasville.

Among those graduating were Mandy Roland of Colquitt, Dawn Cunningham and Beth Miller, both of Donalsonville.

Mandy graduated with honors, magna cum laude, with a BS in early childhood education. She received an AA in early childhood education from Bainbridge College in May 2005. While attending college, Mandy was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges and was a member of Kappa Delta Pi international honor society for educators. Mandy is married to Cleve Roland, and they have two sons, Isaiah and Ben. She is the daughter of Phillip and Sarah Johnson of Colquitt.

Dawn Cunningham graduated cum laude, with a BS in early childhood education. She previously attended Bainbridge College, where she received an AA in early childhood education. At Bainbridge College, she was also named to Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. She currenty is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society, and was among the top 10% of her class and was nominated by professors at TU to be a member of Alpha Chi, a national honor society. She is married to Doug Cunningham, and they have two sons, Jacob and Colby. She is the daughter of Teresa Stephens of Donalsonville and Talmadge Henry of Colquitt.

Beth Miller graduated with a BS in early childhood education, too. She was among the top 10% of her class and was also nominated by professors at TU to be a member of Alpha Chi, a national honor society. She is currently a member of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society. Mrs. Miller previously attended Bainbridge College, where she received an AA in early childhood education and was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. She is married to Stacy Miller, and they have two sons, Blake and Brock.
