LILLIE MAE STANTON

Mrs. Lillie Mae Stanton, age 83, of Auburndale, FL, died Sunday, April 29, 2007.

Mrs. Stanton was born December 13, 1923, in Early County. She was a nurse's aid and a member of Life & Praise Assembly of God Church in Auburndale, FL.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lindsey Gay officiating. Interment followed at Harmony Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Scott Jeffries, Joe Cancino, Irvin Widner, Wilvin Johnson, Harold Gordon, and Lester Gordon.

Survivors include two daughters, Alma Wood, Auburndale, FL, and Merle Jeffries, Cape Coral, FL; one sister, Robbie Kirksey, Colquitt; two brothers, Alvin Gordon and Lamar Gordon, Colquitt; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
