HAZEL RUTH RICHARDSON

Mrs. Hazel Ruth Richardson, 90, of Colquitt died Friday, May 4, 2007, at Miller County Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wayne Sheffield and Rev. Bobby Whittaker officiating. Interment followed at Colquitt City Cemetery.

Mrs. Richardson was born November 29, 1916, in Miller County. She was a retired nurse and a member of Thompson Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Douglas Richardson and Hilton Richardson, both of Colquitt; two brothers, Raymond Holt and Jim Holt, both of Colquitt; one granddaughter, Lisa (Ricky) Smith of Colquitt; one great-granddaughter, Victoria Smith of Colquitt, and a large number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Richardson; one sister, Carrie Bell Anglin; and three brothers, Sterling Holt, Gerald Holt and W. H. Holt.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
