TOM WATSON HAIRE

Mr. Tom Watson Haire, age 80, of Colquitt died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Miller County Hospital.

Mr. Haire was born October 23, 1926, in Miller County. He was retired from the City of Colquitt Sanitation Department and was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 4, at 3:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Bobby Glover and Ritchie Vaughn officiating. Interment followed at Eldorendo Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tim Haire, Bob Glover, Jeff McCullough, Eddie McCullough, Randy Stinnette and Kevin Meredith.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Haire, Colquitt; four daughters, Gail (Bobby) Glover, Donalsonville, Charlotte Teague, Colquitt, Kay (David) Miller, Bainbridge, Pat (Gil) Spooner, Colquitt; one son, Watson (Ethel) Haire, Colquitt, 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
