Swanner, Cannon to wed

Jamie Lyn Swanner and Matthew Alan Cannon
Mr. and Mrs. Dale Swanner of Iron City and Ms. Marilyn Craft of Donalsonville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Lyn, to Matthew Alan Cannon, son of Carey and Terrie Cannon of Jakin. The wedding has been set for Saturday, August 4, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. at Oakview Church of God with the reception to follow at The Willows. No local invitations are being sent; all friends and family are invited to attend.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Mooney of Donalsonville, the late Mr. Colon Swanner of Donalsonville, the late Ray and Barbara Skillen of Ocala, FL, Edward Hall and the late Jean Hall of Donalsonville. A 2000 graduate of Seminole County High School, she is attending Bainbridge College pursuing a degree in early childhood education. She is currently employed by the Donalsonville Police Department.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. A.J. Gentry and the late Mattie Gentry of Blakely, the late Jack and Dorothy Cannon of Jakin, and Bill and Joyce Hughes of Hartford, AL. A 2001 graduate of Early County High School, he is attending Bainbridge College pursuing a degree in accounting. He is currently employed with Triple C Farms in Jakin.
