VERNA DANIELS

Mrs. Verna Daniels, age 93, of Colquitt died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Daniels was born February 1, 1914, in Miller County. She was a homemaker and was of the Protestant faith.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 16, at 4:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Billy Mills officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dean Daniels, Jim Daniels, Sam Bouchlas, Ryan Yates, Justin Yates, and Dan Reviere.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ramona Thames, Macon; one sister, Eva Condon, West Palm Beach, FL; two grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her daughter's father, William H. Franklin; late husband, Willard R. Daniels; sister, Irma Hyfield; and two granddaughters, Diane Yates and Kathy Yates.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
