Outstanding performance by Miller County Jr. swine exhibitors in Perry

Miller County exhibitors showing some of their winning hogs at Georgia National Fairground in Perry.

In a jackpot show that featured over 800 show pigs from several different states, the swine exhibitors from Miller County put on a dominating performance. The show was held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry and was open to exhibitors 21 years of age and under. All swine were classified by breeds and shown by weight. Hogs weighing less than 200 pounds were shown as prospect swine; those weighing 200 or more pounds were shown as progress swine. At the conclusion of the progress show, the overall champions were selected. Congratulations go to all hog exhibitors for a very successful performance at the Jackpot Swine Show in Perry this weekend.
