The Miss Georgia Teen America Scholarship Program is the official state preliminary to the National Miss Teen America and Miss Jr. Teen America Pageant. The system was founded on the principles that the future of the world is dependant upon the leadership qualities of today's youth. The organization believes that volunteer service is vital to the community and to the growth of the youth as well. Through the Miss Teen America National Program, over one-half million dollars in scholarships and awards are given to young women between the ages of eleven and eighteen who are active in their schools and communities and who strive to become positive role models to their peers. Rachel will advance on to compete in the Miss Jr. Teen America National Competition this fall that will be held in the beautiful state of Connecticut.
