Mrs. Myrtle Adams Donaldson Swink, age 82, of Iron City, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 27, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Walden and Rev. Paul Hewatt officiating. Interment followed in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville.

Mrs. Swink was born in Fulton County on September 22, 1925, to the late Monroe and Eula Reed Adams. She worked as an executive housekeeper for Colony Square Hotels in Atlanta for a number of years. She attended Unity Church of God in Iron City and New Beginnings in Colquitt.

Mrs. Swink leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Marti (Larry) Evans, of Iron City; three sons, Fletcher Donaldson, Jr. and Ray Donaldson of Jasper, and Ronnie (Beverly) Donaldson of Dacula; one brother, Gene Adams of Alpharetta, and two sisters, Ruth Hancock of Smyrna, and Irene Donaldson of Douglasville; four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers were Larry Evans, Fletcher Donaldson, Jr., Ray Donaldson, Ronnie Donaldson, Scott Donaldson, and Nick Donaldson.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
