Mrs. Jewel Alday Lovering, 84, of Tallahassee, FL, died Monday, March 26, 2007, at Florida Hospital in Kissimmee , FL.

Mrs. Lovering was born September 17, 1922, in Seminole County. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Holiness Church.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 P.M. Friday, March 30, at Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Mock and Rev. John Rednour officiating. Interment followed at Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Lamar Durham, Daniel Mills, Matthew Alday, Jessie Alday, Marston Johnson and Trent Alday served as pallbearers.

She is survived by her three sons, James Alday and Larry Alday, both of Tallahassee, FL, and Terry (Donna) Alday of Orlando, FL; three daughters, Barbara Daniels, Ann Knight and Ruby (Danny) McLemore, all of Tallahassee, FL; 12 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lennis Jackson Lovering.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
